Design & Display
Most of the budget Lumia series smartphones offer almost similar design. The Lumia 532 and Lumia 630, both the devices have removable colorful back panels, which extend over their sides. Only noticeable difference in their design is that the Lumia 630 has round corners, and the Lumia 532 on the other hand has square ends. The Lumia 532 on the other hand offers a compact 4-inch screen bearing a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. So in design and display section, the Lumia 630 is clearly winner.
The Microsoft Lumia 532 utilizes a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor, which is further supported by an Adreno 302 GPU and 1GB of RAM. The Nokia Lumia 630 on the other hand is backed by a slightly more powerful 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 CPU, aided by an Adreno 305 GPU, and only half the RAM the Lumia 532 offers. However, in terms of performance, both the smartphones offer almost equal experience. For storage needs, they both are loaded with 8GB of flash memory, which users can further increase by up to 128GB.
The Lumia 532 and 630, both devices run Windows Phone 8.1 with Lumia Denim update on top. Apart from the basic Windows Phone 8.1 features, these are also loaded with some Lumia specific features not available to other WP devices, Lumia Camera application for an example. They also arrive with various Microsoft applications, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Skype, and OneDrive to name a few. So the software experience on both the devices is almost similar.
Camera and Connectivity
For their primary cameras, the Lumia 532 and Lumia 630, both utilize 5-megapixel sensors. But the Lumia 630 lacks a 0.3MP front camera present in the Lumia 532, which in the present scenario is a common feature in most the smartphones because of the selfie craze. The Nokia Lumia 630 packs in a decent 1,830mAh battery, which is rated to deliver a handsome 13.1 hours of talk time and 600 hours of standby time on 3G networks.
